I have got some Brachypterous Tiaratum (spiny stick insect) nymphs and soon to be adults and I have heard many different things about them.
1.can males Fly??
2.Can the males cut you with their legs??

The males fly sort of more a long glide rather than a fly i would say and i would say no to cutting its more you can feel them prickle your hand if you hold them :)

That would be Extatosoma tiaratum, only place i saw them called Brachypterous Tiaratum is that stupid ebay advert conning everyone into believing they have special lichen morphs :roll:
