hi, i just got some Extatosoma tiaratum eggs, and about 4 days ago they started hatching. The nymphs were taking some bites of the eucalyptus leaves, but then after couple of bites, they just stop eating. Is this normal for nymphs? I read other posts of them dying after a week or more because they aren't eating, so i don't want that to happen. And no, they aren't parthenogenetic

I used to have lot of trouble with these eating and proved enough for me to give up with them in the end!
I know many people chop the leaves up daily or cut edges off to make it softer and more palatable for them to take
