So i saw my T.biceps female head facing down last night, with her abdomen having such a sharp kink it was almost flopped over her head. I cant understand it, is it likely to affect her in any way and can they recover well?

I am still a novice when it comes to keeping phasmids, but one of my B. hecticum "Windhoek" was hanging from the "ceiling" of her enclosure for a few days, resulting in a 90 degree kink in her abdomen.

Her abdomen resembled a pipe being bent and kinking, seemingly cutting off any movement of fluid/excrement up and down the abdomen.

After a few days she just moved off as normal none the worse for wear.

Well i had hoped that was the case, but now she's collapsed on the floor and gone soft all over, after all the effort to track down a female, really wish i wasnt in this hobby at times -_-
