id love to keep these, but nobody seems capable of producing them in suitable numbers so they arnt sold at stupid prices.

cant be that hard. i reared violin mantids which are a virtually identical mantis in most respects and got hundreds of babies. i couldnt give them away in the end

your too cynical. :D some might be, i think most would cash in while they have the opportunity. i think its just they are slightly too difficult for most buyers to breed, multiplied by them not buying enough cos they are too pricey. so most are wasted, which feeds a vicious circle ending up with continuous failure/rarity.
