Got three of these from Bugsincyberspace, two females and a male! These guys can actually glow in the dark, without a blacklight or anything.
Will try to get pictures of them glowing tonight, but for now, here are some pictures of them in the light of day:

My male is currently curled up like this, I'm hoping he's just resting....

The cage:

BTW, for the substrate I am using a mix of crushed dead leaves, rotten cottonwood, fermented Traeger sawdust, and some rotten wood from an unknown tree sp. There is a layer of dead leaves on top of the substrate for the millipedes to hide under. The substrate is a few inches deep, hopefully they will reproduce for me and make some egg chambers! :D Will definitely keep you guys updated.

Very cool species! I would love to see some good glowing photos. About how big are they? Best of luck with them! Unfortunately I have not had success with flat millipedes.

I know, they are pretty awesome! Unfortunately my camera can't capture their glow, so I won't be able to get any pictures of them in the dark. :( They are about an inch and a half long, which seems to be the maximum size. These seem more hardy than many other Polydesmids, so hopefully they will do well in captivity!

How cool is that! Hope you end up with boatloads of tiny millis. Odd, but I thought flat millis always built frags cases for each egg. Guess I was mistaken. Good luck with them!

Thanks, me too! :) Most do construct frass cells for their eggs, however this genus seems to just dump their eggs in a pile underground.
