The rules state no photoshopped pics can be used

But is it ok to submit pics that have been cropped, or red eye reduced, or slightly brightened with fill light?

Only asking, as cropping and red eye can be done through other programmes,
or do you mean major editing through photoshop, such as colour manipulation and cloning??

i think it should be pure photography but -shrug- i dont know the rules on that

Mazzer is right, it should be pure photography. You cannot alter anyway in the pic, even red eye reduced or brightened with fill light. You can submit as many pictures as you like, all you need is having 2 people norminate your pictures and they will be automatically in the POTM entry of that month.

So in that case, should the rules be ammended, to say absolutely no editing of any entries?(not just Photoshop)

Shame bout red eye editing, bet not many bugs get that?? lol

Photoshopping is a term used online mostly, just for overall editing of a photo :razz:
But i agree....Maybe that ruule could be worded a little different?

not potm ones i guess :P when you take a picture you cant just cut out the bad bits and leave the good bits i guess :lol:
