I have native woodlice in most of my tanks. They are fine for cooler tanks but they won't cope with high temps, so for the warmer tanks the tropical ones are the better bet.

do you find them both as efficient ? i only got tropical ones in millipede tank i started off with a little tub of them and now ive got 1000's im finding myself putting in extra food just for the woodlice  they breed like crazy in optimum conditions. alot more than the native ones. i allways have more mature adult native ones then baby native ones but its the other way for tropical but maybe its still a growing colony
