I am an experienced insect keeper but am going away to university and so have had to rehome my collection.
However, I have two cages full of Indian/Laboratory stick insects (Carausius morosus) that I just cannot shift.
I need someone to take them off me ASAP otherwise they will be destroyed. I have already frozen hundreds of thousands of their eggs, but am more reluctant to kill living adults and nymphs.
They're a pleasant and easy species to keep, and can also be used as livefood for other insects as well as amphibians and reptiles.
I would greatly appreciate anyone who can help me find a home for them.
I am out of the country as of 2nd August so please reply before then or arrangements will be difficult to make.

Hello! Although I can't take them, you can always give them to your local pet shop or post an ad on gumtree/Craigslist/eBay. Although this goes againste a lot of people's ethics and I woulden't do this but if you can find an isolated blackberry bush, put them on there and let them have the summer in the sun before they will die in the winter. Hopefully this was helpful!
