I got this baby Biak GTP last week. Little b'stard bit me good style when I was choosing one, so she had to come home with me :lol:
She was born on May 22nd,

(s)he'll change gradually over the next couple of years into the "normal" green colour, although this locality does retain quite a bit of yellow as aduts

They're a totally arboreal species and that's how they spend the vast majority of their time. They are also extremely difficult to remove from a branch when they're coiled on it.
They are ambush predators, when it gets dark, they drop their head out of the coils and hang down in an "S" shape and wait for some unfortunate animal to pass within reach. they have very long, sharp teeth and once grabbed, things don't get away :twisted:
Bites from adult GTP's are apparently "memorable" events. The bloody baby hurts enough so i'll take "their" word for it
