We've had him out of the viv to clean it etc and was a darling! He did however bite his previous owner but the he did remove a food item from the viv with his bare hand, so it was his own fault. The burm has shown no aggression what so ever. Mind you if you saw how the previous owner kept the burm it's no wonder he got bitten, just surprised it was only the once.

I think with most rescued animals critters it down to the owner!
Handled cared for right they are fine
And often better off once rescued from a so called loving pet home!
Do you get same stupid excuses with reptiles that you do with other animal?
Like i am expecting a baby worried the rabbit might eat it? Or cant keep my dog as im worried he will make my kids ill as his furs falling out (poor aimal turns out to never of been deflead in its life)
And isnt it odd how so many pet keeper seem to be moving abroad and cant keep the pet!
although when you check back they never moved at all :?

A lady once bought a tokay gecko from my friends shop and took it back two days later saying her husband had left her for buying it...

LOL Dave I've a lil' story thats similar to that...
A bloke places an ad on livefoods asking for help urgently as his viv has broken and needed a tank/viv asap for this king snake he bought that very same night. I answered early the next morning saying he could have a tank. He came and he stayed in contact with me asking for advice every day etc. This went on for a couple of weeks but his long term girl friend off 11 yrs said its me or the snake. First it was ok but the snakes staying. Then a week so so later i was asked if I'd look after the snake while he had the builders in. Since then which is five weeks later i've heard nothing from him, no replys to my emails, phone number no longer is in use etc. So I now have another snake. What's annoying is he knows I rehome so why not ask me to rehome instead of just dumping it on me.
