This is what I replied to Lucy's thread (put a link in your thread from yesterday). So you might find the answer doesn't answer you directly. But you will find what you need to know.

You need a 4 foot viv, at least for an adult, get that on ebay is the cheapest. Of course if you made it, then it's almost half the price you buy a factory made one. If you get a baby, you can upgrade the viv to that size later because for the fact they might find it hard to catch their food in such big viv.

You also need a UVB light, starter kit, basking light. And I recommend you to get a Habitstate to control the temperature which is all worth it at the end of the day. Habistate is guarantee for 5 years in case any break down.

I worked one out for my best friend who's looking for a set up and and everything a few months ago. The cheapest I could get for her including the viv (factory made viv), dishes etc etc is about £200.00. But I get everything from the wholesaler, so more likely if you get from the shop, you have to add about £100.00 at least on top. (That is just a guess!)

Bearded dragons are fun.

You won't get disappointed with having a Beardie, or 2. If you are stuck, just shout and there are members on here that should be able to help. We have quite a handful of members keeping Bearded Dragons.

You know what, I just can't see you having only ONE beardie and that's it, but it's the beginning of your lizards collection journey.
