The time has finally arrived. Who knows how long it will continue, but for now, it has begun.

WE SOLD OUR FIRST BEARDIE BABY!!!!!!!!!! :kp: :kp:  :kp:

1 down, 37 to go. However, the couple who took 1 will be back again next month to get another when they can afford it! We also had someone come to see them who also wants 2, but again, next month. It's all very exciting.
We'll have sell at least half of them just to break even with the amount we've spent on them! They have bought much joy to us until now. Now their poop is so much and so incredibly stinky :puke: we can smell it even when the vivs are closed! I hope we manage to sell a good few before my parents come to visit next month - they wouldn't appreciate the stench. Could be a good way to send them home quicker though. :lmao:

We have such a small house that we'd have no more room for anything else! I'd get a water dragon if we ever had space for anything else. Fortunately, bearded dragons have only just started to take off here, so we stand a better chance of them all going. I will be giving everyone who buys one the BN site address, our home phone number and a small amount of calcium powder to keep them going for a few days.
I really hope that we get the same kind of people to buy the rest of the babies cuz we both felt very comfortable letting them buy one.

Actually, I'd prefer them to bring it back to us cuz we can make sure whoever takes it next also know everything they need to know. If they just sold it on, you can't be sure they would remember the guidelines to pass on to someone else, or even care.

We've just been contacted by a petting zoo 2 hours drive away, and they want 2 babies as well! As I have several species of phasmids I wouldn't be too surprised if they want some of those too! :kp:

We've now sold 3 babies and have a further 7 requested! So far the people have been really interested how to keep them healthy and have asked sooo many questions. I love that though, it tells me that they want to do the best thing for them. I made a care sheet that I'm now giving out with them as they sell. There's lists and guidelines regarding there care and I've put our contact numbers and email address on there and I've put this sites address on there too.
