I have a particularly randy Red legged (Ephibolus pulchripes) milli who has just pounced on my newly bought Rainbow milli and mated her.
Do I move Rainbow out of the tank to reduce stress??
Advice would be greatly appreciated
Thanks.

Epibolus pulchripes males are known for a lack of discretion but there's no chance of fertile eggs. Who says the attention won't put a little spring in her step.

I prefer to keep different species separate.
