Sorry had to move this as put it in wrong section

Having had all sorts of Animals during my life i quite fancied doing something with insects.
i have bought a second hand vivaruim and intend getting a Millipede.
i have scrubbed and cleaned the vivaruim out using only warm water and a bit of washing up liquid no detergents used.
size is about 400mm by 400mm by 600mm.
have put about four inches of spider compost in the bottom as this is what i was recommended.
also put spagnum moss inside, a water bowl and some things for it to climb on should it so wish.
now this is where i need some advice.
i have got the humidity settled between 80-90 with constant spraying on a daily basis just enough to get it damp not wet.
the only thing i am having problems with is temperature.
i have a heat mat underneath and during the day temperature is about 24 degrees c.
but during the night temperature drops to about 20 degrees c and just under but humidity is constant.
question is, is it ok to put a Millipede inside this setup or do i need to provide extra heat during night to keep temperature above 20 degrees c.
hope that makes sense.

Your set-up sounds OK, except for the heat mat. Get rid of it! Most species of millipedes do just fine at room temp, even the ones from very warm locations. 20C should do just fine. Mine have done just fine with temps of 16.66 C (62 F) at night and a high of only 21 C (70 F).
