Bought a baby boa a fortnight ago. She had her 1st mouse with me fine. She was scared by me wiggling it so just left it on the shelf below. After a while she struck, constricted it n ate it fine. Shortly after she went in2 shed, snappy n her eyes clouded over.
When I got home this morn she'd started her shed. 3 days after her eyes clearing, she got her old skin off her nose and up ova her eyes, then she went back 2 sleep. Is this normal? If she doesn't finish off 2night should I fish her out? She'll b hungry she is ova due 4 her feed now. It was due Fri.

Looks ok to me(it's a rat :)) as long as the food item is no bigger than the widest part of the snake then you will be fine.

For anyone who wants one and is put off by the size there are a variety of dwarf boa species around now, a stunning one is the BCI.
